Client Interaction Policy

We are an appointment-based business. When arriving at Keystone Medical Massage we cater to you during your time of need. Please be present and on time.

If a cancellation is necessary, please give KMM a 24-hour notice. Remember we are an appointment-based business. KMM cares about our patients and their physical and emotional well-being. Because of this, our clients complete a treatment and progress form every session. That way we can keep track of how well you are progressing!

KMM works hard to make you feel better, so please thank your therapist for the hard work they did and remember payment is expected at the time service is rendered. We accept cash or credit cards. No checks, please.

Here at KMM, Sexual harassment is not tolerated!  If the therapist believes her safety is compromised, the session will be stopped immediately and must be paid in full, and the client is no longer allowed on the premises.

We care about our patients, employees, and environment, please be considerate and do not smoke on KMM property.

Inconsideration to our patients, KMM makes sure that our facility is clean and employees are always clean and dressed appropriately.  With respect for our therapists, please be clean. Having showered the same day as the treatment.

When a client receives a message, it’s just not a physical experience, but a mental one too. Please be present, not under the influence of alcohol or hard drugs. That's because when you get a massage, you often feel dehydrated. So coming to a massage hungover, when your body may already feel that way, isn't your best bet. Massage moves fluids in the body. If you are dehydrated, that is only going to heighten the feeling of dehydration after.  In other words, you might feel even more hungover. So rethink that idea of treatment the morning after boozing.

When receiving a massage it stimulates digestion, please do not eat heavy meals two hours prior to treatment.

KMM wants to separate you from the “real world.” Please refrain from bringing cell phones into the studio. (Unless dyer emergency.) Being away from your cell phone during your massage is a mental escape. Enjoy the peace and quiet for a change.

Clients wonder if they can talk during their massage. Yes, you can, but if you are a very stressed person take this time for yourself and be present and self-aware of your body and mind. Relax try to not talk during your massage, unless you have a question or concern about your massage. Massage is not just for the body, but for the mind too!
